In honour of world pride this past weekend, LaPointe Productions would like to share a recent video (shot & edited by us and produced by Hightop Studio) we did for Yongelove.ca on Kim Milan (one of 22 co-owners) of Glad Day Bookshop. Glad Day is the world’s oldest LGBTQ book store and has been a continual support to the LGBTQ community at large for over 40 years! It’s located at 598A Yonge Street, which is in the core of Downtown Toronto.
Everyone had a great time this weekend and it was an extra special Pride festival this year with the recent decision from the United States Supreme Court to declare Same-Sex Marriages to be LEGAL in all States!
We couldn’t think of a better time to celebrate happiness, joy, love AND equality for all!
